The Return

Sailor Moon was speechless, right there in front of her eyes there was Sailor Mercury, the one she believed dead.

-Sailor Mercury ! ! You’re alive ! ! !

-HA ! ! SO YOUR FRIEND SURVIVED, UNFORTUNATELY YOU WONT BE SO LUCKY ! !

But when he tried to use the gas a woman dressed like Batman entered the room and knocked him out, seeing this Sailor Moon took care of the thug that was holding her, seeing that his men were going down the Joker tried to escape but Batman was able to stop him with a big right hand, none the less the Riddler was able to escape, with the situation controlled Sailor Mars walked towards Sailor Mercury and tapped her in the shoulder, when she turned around Sailor Mars slapped her as hard as she could making her fall to the ground.

-YOU FOOL ! ! YOU HAD A COMUNICATOR AND YOU DIDN’T TOLD US THAT YOU WERE ALIVE ! ! DO YOU KNOW HOW SERENA FELT WHEN SHE THOUGHT THAT YOU WERE DEAD ! ! ! ? ?

-I....I...I’m sorry but I...

-SHUT UP ! ! I DON’T WANT TO SPEAK TO YOU EVER AGAIN ! ! !

Sailor Mars turned around while Sailor Mercury stood up crying, it was then when she noticed the brightness of a gun, she pushed Rei aside when the gun fired, Rei felt Ami’s body falling against hers, meanwhile Robin took care of the man that fired it, Rei holded Mercury’s body in the floor.

-Ami no please...I’m sorry for hitting you....

-R...Re...Rei...I...forgive you...it hurts...maybe...maybe I’m going to die after....all...

-No Ami...Ami ? AMI YOU CAN ‘T DO THIS ! ! !

Batman and the other scouts rushed to the scene and Batman found out that Ami was still alive. He called and ambulance and minutes later they were in the hospital.- Sailor Mars couldn’t remain calmed.

-If she dies I’ll never forgive myself ! !

-Sailor Mars calm down please she’ll be OK...

-Sailor Moon, I feel miserable, even though I slapped her and humiliated her in front of everyone she saved my life...

Suddenly the Doctor emerged from the operation room.

-Hi, I’m Doctor Doug Ross, you’re the ones who bought the blue haired girl ?

-Yes, I’m Sailor Mars, how is she ?

Dr. Ross remained silent for several seconds, Rei couldn’t hold herself and took Dr. Ross from the robe.

-WELL ? TELL ME ! ! ! HOW IS SHE ! !

-*sigh* well...she had an internal bleeding that caused a high lost of blood, if she doesn’t get a transfusion soon...

-Dr. Ross, take the blood you need from me, I have the same blood type Sailor Mercury has.

Rei said

-Are you sure ? This could be dangerous...

-I DON’T CARE ! ! ! SHE’S IN THERE BECAUSE SHE SAVED MY LIFE, NOW IT’S MY TURN TO SAVE HERS ! !

Minutes later Rei was giving blood to the girl she slapped and insulted just a few hours earlier, after ten minutes a nurse removed the needle from her arm and helped her to get up from the bed she was lying on, then the same nurse guided her out of the room while Doctor Ross continued treating Ami.- Meanwhile Luna, Artemis and the other Sailor Scouts along with Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson were waiting outside of the room when she got out, Serena was the first to ask a question.

-Rei...how is she ?

-I don’t know...she was so pale...Serena...my head is spinning...uhhhh

Dick catched her when she fainted, Doctor Ross ordered that she had to be putted in a bed and serum had to be injected to her, an hour later she woke up.

-What happened ?

-You fainted after you gave some blood to Ami, how do you feel ?

-Fine, how is she ?

-She is in the operation room now, after the transfusion Doctor Ross said that now that she was stabilized he could operate her.

-She will be OK right ?

-Don’t worry Rei everything is going to be just fine.

-Where is Mina ?

-She went out to a walk with Dick, I think they like each other.

Both girls talked for about an hour until the nurse told Serena that she had to leave the room in order to let Rei have some rest, meanwhile Mina and Dick were in the park looking at the stars.

-You know something Mina, you are really nice.- I was going to ask you to stay but now that I know who you are I think that it will be worthless to ask...

-What are you trying to say ?

-I love you Mina, I love you with all my heart...since the day I saw you for the first time I knew you were special...

-Dick, I love you too...and I’m going to stay here with you...

After this words they kissed each other and then they allowed their love to go it’s way.

A WEEK LATER...

Both Rei and Ami were released from the hospital and they celebrated the event with a big party in the Wayne manor, Mina and Dick danced all night, same thing did Serena and the others who enjoyed the party, the next day, the girls started to pack their things getting ready for the return trip to Tokyo, Ami was talking with Bruce in one of the balconies of the manor.

-Well Ami, I think that Gotham University will lost a terrific doctor.

-Bruce the place is beautiful and in other circumstances my choice could have been totally different, but as you understand I have a responsibility with my friends.

-I understand Ami and I just hope that you have a bright future.

-Thank you Bruce now if you don’t mind I’m going to pack my things.

-Sure.

Bruce Wayne watched the girl walk up the stairs, he wanted to tell her that he liked her like a daughter but he understanded very well the kind of responsibility a hero has.- In other area of the manor Dick and Mina were also talking.

-Are you sure of this decision Mina ?

-Yes.- I’m sure that the girls can work without me, remember that they were like that before they knew me so it’s not going to be much of a difference.

Then a soft kiss sealed the conversation.- An hour later the girls were putting their bags into the limousine that was going to drive them to the airport, Serena noticed that there were four bags instead of five, suddenly she heard the voice of Mina.

-Girls, I have to talk to you.

-What is it Mina ?

-I’m not going back to Tokyo with you .

-What ?

-Dick and I love each other and I decided to stay here.

Artemis couldn’t believe what he heard.

-Are you nuts ?

-Artemis, I’m staying if you want to stay with me I will appreciate that.

-But...what about Sailor Venus ?

-Sailor Venus will now be part of the Batman and Robin team...I’ll stay here with my love and I’ll help him and his mentor to fight against crime.

-If that is your decision...

Serena walked towards her.

-Mina...you are Sailor Venus, you can’t leave us..

-I’m sorry Serena but that’s the way it’s going to be, I finally found the man I love and I want to stay with him.

With tears on her eyes Serena hugged her.

Each of the girls wished the best to Mina and Dick and then the limousine lefted the Manor and headed towards the airport.- Tears started to fall on Mina’s cheeks and then she turned to see Dick.

-Please drive me to the airport !

-What ?

-I’m sorry Dick, I love you but I can’t leave my friends, they need me...

-OK, let’s go.

In the airport Serena was looking through a window while they waited for the Wayne’s jet to arrive, Ami got beside her.

-Serena are you all right ?

-I can’t believe Mina lefted us...

-Serena, she loves Dick, we have to let her be happy, after all she passed through she deserves some happiness don’t you think ?

-Yeah...maybe you are right.

Alfred interrupted them.

-Excuse me Miss Anderson and Miss Tzukino but the plane is ready.

-Thanks Alfred.

The girls answered him.- Minutes later the four girls were in the plane and the take off procedures started, the plane was in it’s way when they heard the horn of a car, Serena watched through the window and saw Mina and Dick on a car, Serena told the pilot to stop the plane which he did and Mina got in, then she and Serena hugged each other.

-I thought you were going to leave us ...

-I couldn’t leave you Serena nor you or the others, no matter what I have to sacrifice...

Then they took their seats and the plane got up in the sky and they were in their way back to Tokyo were more adventures awaited them....for those curios readers The Riddler was captured by the dynamic duo when he tried to steal a valuable diamond from a jewelry.
