and Sailor Moon
Part 4

Serena and Sailor Pluto arrived to her home, the girl and the young
woman appeared in Ikuko's room, Serena lefted the room to search for her
locket, she smelled something, following the smell she arrived to the
kitchen where she saw her mom cooking her favorite dessert, apple jam,
forgetting about the time where she was she walked towards her mom.

-Mom...it's smells good...

-Excuse me ? Who are you young lady ? What are you doing in my house ?

-oh...I'm sorry...it's just...that I haven't eated in three days...

-oh...don't worry...sit right there I'll give you something to eat

Meanwhile in Ikuko's room Pluto found the locket.

-Finally, we can leave now Serena, Serena ? oh dear God...

Taking the locket with her Pluto runned downstairs, Ikuko felt something
strange, it was like she knew the young girl in front of her, the baby
inside of her kicked with joy as well, the woman prepared a sandwich and
served it on a plate, when she was about to give it to Serena, Pluto
entered the kitchen.

-STOOOP ! ! !

Setsuna throwed her staff but was unable to prevent Serena from touching
the plate which connected her with her mom giving Serena a brutal discharge
of energy that blasted her out through a window, Ikuko was shocked but
Pluto used her staff to return everything to normal and clear the memories
of the events from Ikuko's mind, then she went to aid Serena.

-Serena ! ! Princess answer me please ! !

-My whole body hurts....

-Let's go.

Both, young girl and woman disappeared to reappear seconds later in the
entrance of the warehouse where they lefted their friends, Pluto was upset

-Thanks Plu....

A brutal slap cuted her words

-FOOL ! ! I can't believe your irresponsibility, you risked the universe as
we know it for a sandwich..

-I was hungry OK ! ! ? ? I don't know about you but being hungry for three
days is horrible...

-Now I understand why Rei should be the leader...

-What ? I can't believe what I just heard....specially from you...

But before the discussion continued Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune
arrived

-Look, we can talk about your differences later, Ami got killed in there
and that gargoyle boyfriend of her snapped - Said Neptune

Serena gasped in horror and runned inside, she found Ami's body in the
floor with Rei beside her, the guardian of fire saw her with angry eyes.

-Rei...what happened ?

-Don't talk to me...

-But...why ?

Rei got up and slammed Serena against a wall.

-Why weren't you here ! ! ? ? ? Ami died because you weren't here to save
her ! ! !

-I...

She was about to deny it when she remembered that while Ami was getting
killed she was looking for food, tears runned down her cheeks as she falled
to her knees.

-It...it was my fault...

Then she stood up and taking her scepter she handled it to Rei

-You're right Rei, I don't have what it takes to be a good leader...with
this you are the new neo-queen...

Rei was speechless, she expected another reaction from Serena, the outer
Scouts were also supprised.

-Serena...OK...I'll do my best, now let's go find the others, they are
after the Terminator.

Meanwhile Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus and Twilite were in the search for
the terminator, suddenly Rubeus appeared before them.

-HAHAHA ! ! Still want to die ?

-You ! ! ! I'll take care of you ! ! !

Twilite expanded his wings and flew to fight Rubeus who activated a force
field but it wasn't enough to stop the gargoyle whom impacted on him and
made him fall to the ground.

-NOW I 'LL DESTROY YOU ! ! ! PLUTO DEAD SCREAM ! ! !

-NOOO ! ! !

A lighting blast vaporized Rubeus in seconds, then they continued their
way, the rest of the Scouts joined them they walked for several minutes
until they arrived to an iron processing plant located behind the
warehouse, the Terminator was expecting them.

-Welcome...to your last battle...

Rei stood up in front of everyone and walked towards the machine

-Really ? Get ready for us pretty boy...MARS FIRE ! !

But her fireball didn't hitted the creature, it was nothing more than a
reflection on a gasoline container that blew up throwing everyone back a
few meters Serena runned towards Rei.

-Rei ! ! REI ! ! !

The girl slowly opened her eyes

-L...Looks...like you g...get...to be...the leader again...

Then the guardian of Mars peacefully died in Serena's arms, the blond girl
started to cry.

-No...Rei...

Then the Terminator walked from behind the wreckage.

-HAHAA who's next ?

Serena stood up.

-Scouts it's time, Twi stand beside me.

The Scouts and the gargoyle stood up in circle and called for their must
powerful attack .

-SCOUT POWER ! ! ! !

All their powers along with Twi's combined in a blast so brutal that the
Terminator's chest blowed up, the hole was so big that the machine was
unable to reform itself, seeing the situation, Twi flew above him and took
him with his claws, then he left him fall on a melted iron container.

-This is for Ami...

Then Pluto teleported them back to the present, there Serena was all tears
for the lost of two of her best friends, then she got an idea.

-I will take them back to life.

-WHAT ? ? Serena, healing people takes out a lot of your energy, trying to
restore someone's life could...kill you...

-I don't care Luna, they risked their lives for me, it's time I do
something for them, even if I have to die in the process.

-Serena...

-Darien ! ! ? ?

The boy softly kissed her.

-I love you....

-I love you too Serena...please be careful...

Then the bodies of Ami and Rei were placed in front of her, after turning
into Sailor Moon she got the silver crystal out of her locket and turned
into the Neo-Princess, then a bright light engulfed the place, after a few
seconds, the light diminished and they saw Ami and Rei sitted they runned
up to hug them.

-Thank God you're back girls, you did it Serena, SERENA ! ! ? ? ?

In their happiness they didn't noticed that Serena was in the floor
unconscious back in her normal clothes, Darien runned beside her.

-Serena, my love please wake up,

There was no reaction so they decided to take her to a medical facility,
the doctor's diagnostic was terrible.

-We don't know what happened, but she is suffering a case of extreme
fatigue, she is in a profound coma, there is nothing to do but wait.

Serena opened her eyes, she was in a white palace suddenly she heard
footsteps behind her.

-Mom...

-Serenity my dear.

-Does this mean I...

Queen Serenity hugged her.

-My dear flower, you did the greatest sacrifice of them all.

-But...what about Darien...and Rini...if I'm dead...Rini will not exist.

-My dear, I'm going to ask you a very important question, do you really
want to go back or you want to stay in eternal peace ?

She just looked at her mother who understood her.- In the hospital the
girls were worried the doctor told them that Serena's heart stopped and
that they were waiting a few more minutes in order to declare her
clinically dead, Ami entered the room and saw the heart monitor with a
straight line on it, tears runned down her cheeks when she saw the doctor
and the nurse enter to disconnect them, it was then when the unthinkable
happened.

-Doctor look, her heart started to work again ! !

-What ? ? That's impossible ! !

The doctor runned to Serena and checked her, to his supprise she was alive,
the girls were overjoyed, even though they didn't understanded how, three
weeks later Serena lefted the hospital, with the menace of the Terminator
everything seemed to be OK, but one day a dark supprised came for Serena,
an urgent call from Rei made her and Luna run out to the temple, there Rei
handed her a note that Mina lefted along with a small package.

"You may not understand why I lefted, well it is simple, I betrayed your
trust, especially Ami's even though I knew she loved Twilite more than
anything in the world I tried to do things, and only God knows if I did
worse ones, with him, against his will, I can't be on the team anymore, how
could I ever look at Ami again, I betrayed her trust, her friendship,
things that meat a lot for me, maybe I'll return one day, but...I think it
will be better if I start over again, you may find my pen and communicator
on a package that was beside this letter, finally I want to say that I'm
sorry...especially to you Ami...hope one day you can forgive me...

Serena walked towards the window, it was 8 :00 p.m. it was a full Moon, as
she watched it, The Princess of the Moon knew that starting the next day,
things were about to change...
